Formation at Holy Trinity

It is in primarily in worship that our faith is “formed.” We hear the word of God that proclaims God’s grace for us and our broken world. We remember our baptism and our common vocation to serve God in home and school, community and nation, daily work and leisure. We gather at the Lord’s Table to be nourished by Christ’s presence and to awaken our care for the hungry ones of the earth.

In addition to worship we grow in faith in many and diverse ways. We offer Sunday School for children. Some adults receive spiritual direction, counseling or other offerings through the Spiritual Life Center. We practice the ministry of service by volunteering at the Lakeview Pantry, the Crib Shelter and the Night Ministry, to name a few..

All of our formation is done in partnership with the Lakeview Lutheran Parish. Learn more about other offerings and the Lakeview Lutheran Parish here.

Wherever you are in your spiritual life, you are welcome... you are invited to come and explore your spiritual questions with others in community.

Life Together is one of Lakeview Lutheran Parish’s adult faith formation programs, which is designed to support adults in completing a deep inquiry into their faith before and during the Lenten season. Life Together is a program taught by lay leaders and pastors, and provides a safe space for people to talk about God, Jesus, and their faith; to unpack their past experiences with church; and to figure out what exactly all of that means to us now, as adults.

To complete this exploration, we will have nine meetings on Sunday evenings, some in-person and some online, between January and Easter… If you are interested in joining the group, please fill out the Google form linked below, and we will be in touch with Zoom links and more information
