Barbara Kudirka will perform several piano works richly evoking the beauty and passion of 19th century musical Romanticism: The Intermezzo in A Major, Op. 118, No. 2 and Two Rhapsodies, Op. 79 by Johannes Brahms, along with the Ballade in G Minor, Op. 23 by Frédéric Chopin. With commentary from the performer, you are invited to experience this music with fresh understanding and emotional resonance. Barbara Kudirka has an MM in Piano Performance from Northwestern University, with further study in the master classes of Menahem Pressler and John O'Conor.
