Sunday Small Bytes: Pandemic screen time: a mixed blessing for children and youth

Navigating screen time for children and youth is a challenge in normal times and even more so after 14 months of lockdown. While remote learning accounts for much of the increase, some estimates say that American children are now spending as much as six to eight hours per day in front of screens. Resulting concerns range from lack of outdoor physical activity to possible permanent vision damage. This is an issue not just for parents but for our culture at large, so everyone is invited to discuss the issues and share ideas.
