Are there remaining questions about the 2009 ELCA statement on Human Sexuality?

A special task force of the ELCA has been reconsidering for possible changes a subsection of its social statement Human Sexuality: Gift and Trust.  The task force recently released a study to foster conversation across the church and to generate feedback that will guide its work. While we at Holy Trinity will not engage in the full multi-session study, because of the importance of this matter we will hold a one session forum after worship at 10:45 am on Sunday, July 19, in person and on Zoom.  We will introduce our congregation to and discuss some of the core issues of the study. No preparation is necessary.
